This sweet kitty wandered onto a porch of a kind citizen and it was very obvious she was going to have kittens any day but unfortunatley the gentleman was leaving town for several weeks that very afternooon. So he called us and we said he could bring her here. The kittens were born that week and are doing great and will be ready for new forever homes very soon. One of the kittens was born with an underdeveloped eye but shes doing great. Please call us if your interested in adopting one of these sweet babies!

This big girl came to us to be euthanized because her owners are moving and she has a hard time getting around. We took x-rays of her hind end and found out she has bad knees partly due to her being very overweight. But we decided it was not reason enough to take her life. We put her on Deramaxx, an anti-inflammatory pain medication, and after just a few days on that she has become a new dog. She will remain on this medication for the rest of her life since it has helped her so much. We have contacted a few rescues to see if we can find her a new home to love her until the true end.

These 4 sweethearts were surrendered to us from and owner who had 5 very ill Parvo puppies and couldn't  afford to treat all 5 of them. So with the help of United Animal Friends we hospitalized all these babies on IV fluids and IV medications and a week later they are all doing great! One of our staff members even got so attached to them while they were here and is adopting 2 of them! And the other 2 puppies will be going with UAF where they will find new loving forever homes.

This little man was rushed into us by a concerned young man that found him and did not know what happened or what to do. We took the kitten over and immediately got it pain medication and IV fluids and then had surgery about an hour later to close the very large hole on his back that appeared to be burnt maybe from an engine of a vehicle. Eventhough he was in pain and scared we picked him up to evaluate him and he licked the tech right on the nose. Hes a tough little guy and at that moment we knew we had to give him a chance. A tech here just fell in love with his fighting spirit and has decided to give him a wonderful forever home :)

This baby was found abandoned in a wash and was brought to us by animal control. He was severely emaciated and had a prolapsed rectum as well as Demodex mange. He is so incredibly sweet and happy. He has had a few procedures and still may have one to go but we are not giving up on this sweetheart! He has also wiggled his way into the heart of one of our technicians so he has a loving home after all he has been through.
